He called these patterns psychological types.

Part two — a compatibility guide
No two people experience the world in exactly the same way. The friction we feel in our closest relationships — and the ease we feel in others — often has less to do with compatibility in the romantic sense, and more to do with how our personalities are structured.
Jungian personality types reveal the invisible architecture beneath our behavior. Why does one person shut down when they need to think, while another needs to talk it through?
